Description

Wild Side Berries: Social Smoke Tiger’s Blood

Social Smoke Tiger’s Blood is a mix of ripe blueberries, raspberries, strawberries and cherries. The manufacturer calls it a sensual blend that is sure to awaken your wild side, which is a fun way to describe a very fruity flavor.

Why this made the cut (Speed Hookah Pick)

Berry blends are some of the most requested flavors we see, and a four-fruit mix gives smokers a lot to enjoy. The brand behind it has been around since 2003 and has made its own tobacco since 2010. The manufacturer states the leaf is unwashed, flue-cured Virginia, that the blend is free from preservatives, artificial colors and unnecessary additives, and that it is designed for thick, long-lasting clouds. That is a strong base for a flavor with this many layers.

The name suggests something bold, and the four-fruit lineup backs that up with plenty of berry variety. It is a good choice for groups, because most people can find a fruit they like somewhere in the blend, which makes it easy to share around the table.

The Sensory Experience

• The Inhale: Expect a sweet berry cluster on the draw. With four fruits in the mix, the flavor reads as a blend rather than a single standout note.
• The Exhale: The exhale keeps the berry character going, with cherry and the other fruits all part of the official profile. We do not have more detail than that from the manufacturer.
• The Buzz: Moderate. This is unwashed Virginia leaf, so it tends to feel a bit fuller than a washed blonde leaf.

Expert Packing & Heat Management

We like a semi-dense pack in a bowl phunnel or an Egyptian-style bowl, with foil or an HMD on top. Use 2 to 3 coconut cubes (25 to 26 mm). Sweet berry flavors can get a little jammy if the heat is high, so back it off if the flavor starts to taste flat or sharp.
