Social Smoke Lemon Shisha (Sun-Ripened Lemon) – 200g Tin – Ships from Florida

Description

Pure Citrus Sunshine: Social Smoke Lemon

Social Smoke Lemon is described by the manufacturer as sun-ripened lemons with a tangy, smooth finish. It is a clean citrus flavor without extra layers.

Why this made the cut (Speed Hookah Pick)

Every well-rounded catalog needs a solid lemon. Social Smoke says it has been in the hookah business since 2003 and has produced its own tobacco since 2010, using unwashed flue-cured Virginia leaf. We see that as a good base for a citrus that has to stay bright through a full bowl. It is the sort of tin that tends to get reordered, because a dependable lemon finds its way into so many sessions.

The Sensory Experience

• The Inhale: Zesty lemon with a tangy bite that is balanced out by a smooth feel.
• The Exhale: A clean, citrusy finish that fades without lingering too long.
• The Buzz: Moderate. This is unwashed Virginia leaf, so it tends to feel a little fuller than a washed blonde leaf.

Expert Packing & Heat Management

Our go-to is a semi-dense pack in a bowl phunnel with foil or HMD, running 2 to 3 coconut cubes (25 mm). Citrus tends to burn off faster than creamy flavors, so keep the heat steady and avoid overpacking. For mixing, start with a small share of lemon and add more only if you want it sharper. A little goes a long way in a blend.

Who Will Love It

This is a good everyday citrus for people who like bright, clean flavors. It also works well as a mixer, since lemon plays nicely with mint, berries and other fruit. The official description is short, so we keep our expectations simple: sun-ripened lemon, tangy and smooth. Serve it with ice water and a light snack, and it holds up nicely through a whole afternoon of casual smoking without wearing out your palate.
